DESCRIPTION
Your journey begins at Emerald Lake, one of the most photogenic spots in the Canadian Rockies. Known for its brilliant turquoise water and tranquil forested setting, this lake offers the perfect start to your day. You’ll have time to take a gentle walk along the shoreline, rent a canoe, or simply relax and enjoy the view. We also stop at the Natural Bridge, a striking rock formation carved by the rushing waters of the Kicking Horse River, where you can witness nature’s raw power up close.
From there, the tour continues to Takakkaw Falls, the second-tallest waterfall in Canada. With a vertical drop of 373 meters (1,224 feet), this thundering cascade is one of Yoho National Park’s crown jewels. You’ll feel the spray as you approach the base, take in panoramic mountain views, and have time to explore and photograph the surrounding area.
